Silverline 150W Orbital Sander 1/3rd Sheet

There are a myriad of different types of sander out there on the market, each designed to focus on their own specialist task. 1/3rd sheet variations like the Silverline Orbital Sander are perfect for preparing doors and windows for painting, as well as both coarse and fine sanding of walls and other larger flat surfaces.

Powered by a 150W motor, this sheet sander uses 90 x 190mm hook and loop sanding sheets as well as 93 x 230mm conventional sheets which can be cut to size and then clamped on with the quick-change lever. At just 1.4kg in weight, there is a tick in the box for both manoeuvrability and control, while the sander still has enough weight to pin it down to the workpiece in order to be effective.

A solid aluminium base provides sturdiness while the smooth contours of the main body, coupled with rubber hand grips allow for a comfortable and controlled working position. A protruding front handle aids precision and automatically improves sanding results by directing the weight onto the working area.

Featuring an On/Off trigger switch which gives the user control and, when using the lock-on button, delivers a consistent finish which is the aim of the game when it comes to sanding.

Dust extraction is encouraged via the integrated port to reduce dust and debris which can hamper progress and cause working hazards. Supplied with 1 x hook and loop sanding sheet and 1 x conventional, cuttable sheet; both rated as 100 grit.
